This 6-day birding tour takes you through the stunning landscapes of Ladakh, focusing on birdwatching in key locations such as the Indus River Belt and Nubra Valley. Starting in Leh, you’ll acclimatize to the high altitude and then embark on daily birding trips to spot rare species like Ibisbill, Solitary Snipe, and Eurasian Hobby along the Indus River. The journey continues to Nubra Valley, where you'll visit the villages of Panamik, Sumoor, and Deskit, spotting high-altitude birds such as the White-browed Tit Warbler and Scalleybelly Woodpecker. The tour concludes with a return trip to Leh, offering a final birding session before departing for Delhi. The package includes accommodation, meals, transportation, and expert birding guide services.
Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to the hotel. The day is reserved for acclimatization due to the high-altitude conditions of Leh (3500 m). Relax and take a full day rest to avoid altitude sickness. In the evening, meet your birding tour guide for a briefing on the tour itinerary.
